Tristan Jones joined ORG’s Board of Trustees in 2014. He is a barrister at Blackstone Chambers in London, where he practices in a wide range of civil law, including EU, competition, commercial and human rights law. In the human rights field, he has been involved in many leading cases, including cases on prisoner voting, gay rights, and rights to social security benefits.

Tristan has a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, where he developed a particular interest in conflict resolution. For several years he was an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, where he was a lead teacher on an intensive negotiation workshop. He has delivered negotiation training for corporate clients in the pharmaceutical, energy, retail, banking and healthcare sectors. He has also delivered several courses for the Norwegian Bar Association.
