This policy brief will present a short profile of Marib governorate and outlines its importance as one of Yemen’s key regions. It will give an account of how the ongoing conflict has affected Marib, before presenting the key challenges faced by the governorate. It presents a case study of internally displaced persons in Marib and concludes with recommendations and an overview of prospects for future conflict resolution in the governorate.
