On 14 March, in association with Oxford Research Group (ORG), the Prince Charles Cinema will host another special screening of the documentary film Shadow World: Inside the Global Arms Trade, followed by a conversation between Gabrielle Rifkind, Director of the Oxford Process, and Andrew Feinstein, author of the globally acclaimed book which served as the basis for the film.

Johan Grimonprez’s film unearths the secret world of the global arms trade, where corruption and greed drive covert relationships between politicians, industry executives, military and intelligence officials, and arms dealers.

On 11 April the same venue will host a special screening of The Age of Consequences. Directed by Jared P. Scott, the documentary investigates the impacts of climate change on increased resource scarcity, human migration, and conflict through the lens of US national security and global stability.

Following the screening, ORG’s Sustainable Security Programme Director, Richard Reeve, will join a live expert panel including Rear Admiral Neil Morisetti, formerly the UK Foreign Secretary’s Interim Special Representative for Climate Change, to discuss the core themes covered in the film.
