On September 17th 2018, the Remote Warfare Programme (RWP) brought together a distinguished panel at Fyvie Hall, consisting of Professor Patrick PorterProfessor Michael Clarke and Dr Louise Arimatsuto discuss the political, legal, and military implications of remote warfare. 

Chaired by RWP's Director, Emily Knowles, the panel examined questions such as

  • Is remote warfare lawful but awful?

  • Is the British military any good at it?

  • And can we expect a better peace as a result of it
