As well as publishing a number of pieces analysing the response to the 9/11 attacks and the subsequent ‘war on terror’, ORG’s Sustainable Security team have made a number of interventions in the public debate around the ten year anniversary of the attacks.

ORG’s latest global security briefing, 'A War Gone Badly Wrong - The War on Terror Ten Years On', which assesses the consequences of launching a war against  al-Qaida and its affiliates was covered in a number of print and broadcast media, and the report’s author Professor Paul Rogers gave numerous interviews in the lead up to the anniversary including on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC1 TV and Russia Today.

In the days preceding the 9/11 anniversary, Professor Rogers and Ben Zala also discussed the need for a more holistic and strategic approach to global security threats in order to meet the challenges of the next decade at the 'Conflict Research Society Annual Conference' and a major conference on 'Global Insecurities: Insurgency, Development and World Order 10 Years On' respectively.

Our publications are circulated free of charge for non-profit use, but please consider making a donation to ORG, if you are able to do so.
