Lisa Hashemi is interning on Oxford Research Group’s Middle East Programme while completing an M.Sc. in International Politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Focusing on Turkey and Iran, she is particularly interested in the impact of Turkish foreign policy activism on conflicts in the Middle East, such as the Arab-Israeli conflict and the nuclear debate between the Western state community and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
