Dr Khaled Hroub works as Consultant on Oxford Research Group's (ORG) Middle East programme. He leads the programme's Palestinian Strategy Group project.
Khaled is a leading expert on Hamas, Islamic movements and the politics of identity. He teaches Modern Middle Eastern history and politics at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at Cambridge University, where he also directs the 'Cambridge Arab Media Project'.
Khaled is the author of the books 'Hamas: Political Thought and Practice' (2000), 'Hamas: A Beginner's Guide' (2006), 'Political Islam: Context versus Ideology' (ed.) (2011), and he publishes a weekly article on current affairs that appears in major six dailies in the Arab world.
