ORG is developing a new project aimed at building on the perspectives on global security gained from the four regional consultations held across the Global South over the last few years.

The project will be run by Hannah Brock, who has joined ORG as part of the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust-Quaker Peace and Social Witness ‘Peaceworker’ scheme.  For the next year, Hannah will be working with the Sustainable Security Programme, as well as managing ORG’s engagement with our network of individual donors and Sustainers. This includes further building up ORG’s links with its Quaker supporters.

Hannah has a background in development and has degrees in Sociology and Development Anthropology. She has recently worked with Christian Aid, and while previously based in Nairobi, she worked with the Kenyan Network for Women with HIV Aids.
